Multi-family buildings Barcelona

This project consists of 18 homes in a building in the centre of Barcelona and, for this reason, 6 of them are subsidised housing units.

The choice of renewable and low-impact woods —as we can see on the facade— combines with the use of air source heat pumps as its main water and heating system to make it a green building.

The building opens onto two semi-pedestrian streets, so we went for a ground-floor duplex to increase the floor area and created a double-height space in the hall to foster a sense of privacy and fill the interior with light.

Most of the duplexes are dual-aspect flats, connecting them to the building's interior patio. The rest of the flats offer a great deal of flexibility, as they can have 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. They are designed so that customers can choose their own layout.
