_St. Pau

Renovation of an English house where priority was given to the entry of natural light by incorporating large windows and a skylight.

Sabadell – Barcelona

A project in which traditional elements (hydraulic floors, exposed brick walls, wooden beams) coexisted with modern elements.

The staircase became the centre of the project and where the coexistence of
original and new elements was most appreciated.

The under staircase was used to establish different routes to the kitchen-living room area. The openings on either side of the kitchen peninsula helped the circulation to flow more smoothly.

On the other hand, one of the objectives of the refurbishment was to recover natural light in all the rooms and this was achieved by incorporating large windows and a skylight.

Artificial lighting was used to enhance natural lighting.
