_Casa Llobet

Renovation of an English house where the space becomes a series of fluid routes.

Sabadell – Barcelona

Broadly speaking, the building is
laid out in a fairly traditional manner, with a central staircase that leads to the rooms on either side in a very orderly fashion.

The combination of sloping and flat roofs allowed us to play with the spaces and natural lighting. Interior rooms were created for different uses and the entry of exterior light was total.

Precisely this was used to create a terrace where the roof was flat
(on the first floor).

This resulted in the same indoor-outdoor space ratio as on the ground floor.

The roofs also generate different overhangs that protect and give continuity to the entire perimeter of the façade.
